| The 3rd Infantry is organized into 4 Regiments |
As a Light Dragoon, you will land with the tanks at Sword Beach and patrol the southern operating area to
deny the arrival of enemy reinforcements, eliminate enemy tanks and destroy enemy fortifications and
heavy weapons. You will provide close armour infantry support and when needed, you will be called upon
to enter a town and fight house-to-house. This unit may see a good bit of Close Quarters Battle and
running gun fights. This unit is not for the faint of heart. You will be extremely outnumbered and outgunned,
but you will never be bored. This unit is restricted to troops at least 10 years old, on the day of the game
and you must be at the event by 8:00 AM on Friday, June 13.

As an Infantryman, you will deploy on Sword Beach and be called upon to accomplish objectives in the face of overwhelming German opposition. You will be required to move quickly and quietly over vast distances, to assault fortified positions, and to coordinate your actions with other Commonwealth and Allied forces. These units are the ultimate in receiving “trigger time” and are restricted to troops at least 10 years old, on the day of the game and you must be at the event by 8:00 AM on Friday, June 13. |
